Event Details

GiveCamp Birmingham is getting ready for its second GiveCamp.   We learn a lot during our first GiveCamp back in Jan. 2011.    Now it is time to start planning for Birmingham's second. We have a date set in Aug. for GiveCamp Birmingham 2.0, so what do we need.   Well we need people like you to help plan and excute this GiveCamp.

Example of some of the roles that we need to fill:

  • Charity outreach
  • Project team leads
  • Volunteer coordinator
  • Sponsor coordinator
  • Training coordinator
  • Site Logistics coordinator
  • Promo / PR coordinator
  • And other roles that we may not have thought of yet

So on March 25 we are going to meet at the Innovation Depot from 12:00 - 1:00, will do our best to make sure this does not go long.   Educator Technologies and Fairmont Technology Solutions, which are located in the depot,  are covering lunch for all thoses who register.

*** In addition we will start to layout the framework to have a state executive committee to help with a statewide Alabama GiveCamp.  Additional information about this will be covered in a conference call in late April.
